Visit to 'The Calvert Trust'

Good News!!!! we now have a new nominated charity the 'Calvert Trust', myself, Cath from Lakes Lodge, Darryn and Karen from The Regent Hotel all had a trip out to Little Crosthwaite at Bassenthwaite lake last week where the 'Calvert Trust' is based.
Who are they? can you imagine someone being paralysed from the neck down sailing, horse-riding abseiling 70ft down a sheer rock face? they can, they make it happen every day. For over thirty years the Lake District Calvert Trust has been providing specialist residential outdoor activity courses for children and adults with physical, learning or sensory disabilities.
We would like to raise money to help towards a new 'Sensory Room' to run along side their new hydrotherapy pool.
Darryn has been busy collecting from our local suppliers to put a hamper together which we are going to raffle and we are also going to raffle two mid-week breaks, one for Lakes Lodge and one for Lake House and finally all the staff are going to do a sponsered walk during January. If anybody would like raffle tickets or to sponser anyone details will be available at all three receptions or alternatively you can always give us a call.
